How this gold price per kilogram is calculated
We start with the current 24K gold benchmark converted into Bangladeshi taka. For 24K gold, the metal value is multiplied by 24/24, or 100.0%. The result is then converted to the selected weight.
This is an estimated melt value. A retail jewellery price can be higher because of tax, craftsmanship and dealer margin. A cash buying price can be lower because the buyer needs to test, refine and resell the metal.
