Understanding gold prices in Germany
The international benchmark is normally quoted in US dollars per troy ounce. We convert that benchmark into euro and then into gram values. Purity is applied as a transparent fraction of 24K gold.
Because currency markets and gold markets move independently, the price in EUR can rise even when the USD gold price is flat. The reverse can also happen. For an actual transaction, compare several same-day dealer quotes and confirm the tested purity and net weight.

We multiply the 24K reference value by the purity ratio. For example, 22K uses 22/24 and 18K uses 18/24.
